My Story
Morgantown, WV
Hello There
I'm Sallyanna — a photographer, a West Virginian through and through, and someone who genuinely tears up at every wedding I photograph (I'm working on it).
I picked up my first camera at sixteen, shooting sunsets over the Mon River with a disposable camera I got for Christmas. That obsession never went away. After studying art at WVU, I turned what I loved into a career — and I've never looked back.
My approach is simple: I get out of the way and let real moments happen. No stiff posing, no forced smiles. I'll make you laugh, find the light, and be a calming presence on your busiest day. You'll forget I'm there — until you see the photos.
When I'm not behind a camera, I'm probably hiking Coopers Rock, drinking too much coffee at Morgantown's many excellent cafes, or experimenting with film photography on the weekends.

My Philosophy
"The best photographs aren't made — they're found. My job is to be in the right place, pay attention, and never blink."
How I Work
01
We start with a conversation — in person, over coffee, or on a call. I want to know your story before I ever pick up a camera.
02
I walk you through every detail — timeline, locations, lighting, what to wear. Nothing is left to chance.
03
On the day, I blend into the background and chase the light. You'll be present — not performing for a camera.
04
Within 4–6 weeks you'll have a beautifully edited gallery to revisit, share, and keep forever.
